Kyle Lichtenwald posted the first draft of his digital storytelling piece today. You can view it here.

Kyle is looking for online peer review. I like the idea of getting bouncing ideas or content off your personal online network, or your trusted research team. Often when we think of peer review, we keep it traditional and people rarely consider the network. I joined the network for this reason- to increase the number of people with which I have contact. I am in contact with different people, for different reasons and I appreciate the positive contributions they provide me.

Alan Levine (Cogdog) just posted a blog entry regarding asking a question to your network, this time via twitter and getting results. You can read his post here. I like Alan’s closing remarks in his blog post:

If you have not had one of these quick twitter give backs, just keep putting the questions, requests out there. Give, ask, tweet, get back. Being there, for sure.

I have to admit that I joined the Twitter for this reason: to be able to putting out questions and getting answers. I have had little success in this department. I guess I should take Alan’s advise and keeping putting out the questions when I need them answered rather then abandon the network in frustration. Now to give it another chance…
